Measures degree of ammonia in a solution. This Nessler based ammonia test kit reads the total ammonia level in parts per million (ppm) which are equivalent to milligram per liter (mg/L) from
0 ppm (mg/L) to 7.0 ppm (mg/L).

In the real world testing the ammonia would be slightly more complicated, but in our virtual world we have extracted some rumen fluid and mixed in a beaker  the rumen fluid and 10 drops of the Ammonia Test Solution.
 

Now read the test results by matching the test solution against those on the Test Color Chart.
